Community Rules

Be a good opponent. These rules apply to chat, names and play once multiplayer opens.

Draft — under review

Last updated: 4 November 2026. Draft. Moderation tools ship before public chat does.

At the table

  • Play to win, fairly. No cheating, bots, collusion or exploiting bugs.
  • Do not stall or leave a match you are losing just to avoid the result.
  • Accept results graciously. Say "good game".

In chat and names

  • No harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual content or bullying.
  • No sharing of personal information, yours or anyone else's.
  • No spam, advertising, scams or links to other sites.
  • Choose a name that is not offensive and does not impersonate anyone.

Reporting and moderation

Every chat and profile will have a report button. Reports are reviewed by people, and we may mute, suspend or ban accounts. Repeat or serious breaches lead to permanent bans. Public chat will not be switched on until moderation and age safeguards are in place.

Safety

If someone makes you uncomfortable, block them and report them. If you or someone else is in danger, contact the emergency services.

Appeals

If you think we got a decision wrong, contact us and we will take another look.
