What we mean
"Cookies" here also covers similar technologies such as local storage. We group them into two kinds.
Essential (always on)
These are needed for the game to work and do not track you across sites.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
8baller.consent.v1 | Remembers your cookie choice | Until you clear browser data |
8baller.settings.v1 | Your name, felt, cue, volume and aim-guide settings | Until you clear browser data |
8baller.stats / achievements | Your local win record and achievements | Until you clear browser data |
8baller.page.muted | Remembers if you muted the game | Until you clear browser data |
Advertising (off unless you opt in)
If you accept advertising, our advertising partner may set cookies or read identifiers to show and measure ads. No advertising script is requested before you opt in. We will name the partner here before ads go live.
Change your choice
Use here or in any page footer. Turning advertising off stops new ad requests; you can also clear cookies in your browser settings.
Analytics
We do not currently use analytics cookies. If we add them they will be optional and listed here first.
